Sir Edmund Caradas was the husband of Jane Albrecht and uncle of Lord Barstow Caradas.

Edmund Caradas was a large man of an athletic build. His fondness for combat created from him an imposing form. He wore his brown hair long in Arathorian fashion and had eyes of a sharp green. His beard was once allowed to grow long, but after his marriage became tidy. Several scars marred his face, one describing the area from his left eye to his chin.
History[]
As the second son of Daguld Caradas, Edmund was kept from assuming the title of lord. He was said to be born ready to ride a horse though and quickly took to the life of a knight, establishing himself as a cavalryman with relative ease.
When Wilhelm Albrecht sent his son Hadrian to study abroad, the two became friends. Later, Hadrian's mother proposed the prospect of wedding Edmund to her eldest daughter, Jane. This union proved vital to Hadrian's War, which occurred many years later.
Initially, the marriage between Edmund and Jane was a difficult one. Jane was a proper young woman accustomed to the society of her father's court, whereas Edmund like many men of Stromgarde was a loud and somewhat uncouth man. It was his expedience in assisting Hadrian that fully won his wife over.
Edmund changed the tide of battle during the Battle of Lifebane, arriving to rescue the Albrecht forces from a routing. Although the Falomyrs would long bear a grudge against the Caradas for their intervention, Edmund never once doubted the correctness of his action.
