Mary Albrecht was the twin sister of Jane Caradas. She was married to Lord Reginald Trueflame.

Mary was shorter than her twin sister and noticeably more robust. With red hair and bright blue eyes she had a life to her that few of her generation seemed to be able to replicate.
History[]
Mary was an outgoing girl from birth and continued to be an outgoing woman later in life. Her marriage to Reginald Trueflame was seen as an interesting one as the man's younger sister had wed her elder brother. More importantly, Lord Reginald was an extremely proper and pristine man who would have made a better match for Jane, many felt.
But Mary's vivaciousness managed to seep into her lord husband and before long, the two were madly in love with one another. When Highpass was attacked by Richard Falomyr in the War of the Ebontide, Mary was said to have watched the battle for fear that if she took her eyes away her beloved Reginald might die.
When Azrahil Hopesfire sailed to the rescue of Highpass during the war, Mary became enchanted by the swarthy pirate and his quick tongue. She began a brief affair with him that saw her with child (Aztinian); something that she and Reginald had been hoping for for quite some time. Although she never confessed to it, rumors began that Hopesfire had sailed into more than Highpass' docks.
Despite the potential scandal associated with her, when Mary died the people of Highpass felt a sudden loss. Her bright and charming personality was sorely missed, none more so than by her widower.
